60th Birthday!

It’s springtime during a pandemic and a daughter living in Argentina wants to throw her mom a front-yard 60th birthday celebration in Mamaroneck, NY from a far in one week no less! Done and done! The theme was to be The Sound Of Music (her mom’s favorite film). Around 40 guests attended the party, all game to play dress up with props provided by Full Moon such as nun habits, “Heidi pigtail braids”, and feathered alpine hats. Spring flora poured out of wicker picnic baskets indicating key areas such as the bar, food table, walkway, and wash room. High tops adorned with cheerful floral arrangements accented with the guest of honor’s face photoshopped with Julie Andrew’s iconic hairdo from the film! Engulfing the front of the home was a 65ft wandering cloud of balloon artistry which included varying sized double stuffed balloons. It was the perfect nod to those famous rolling hills and bright blue sky from the film and provided a great backdrop for heartfelt speeches and photos. Her daughter joined her other siblings via zoom as they sang personified version of “A Few Of My Favorite Things” to their mom. *Cue tears Event design - Full Moon and Company
